Arya was named after one of the main characters in the popular series Game of Thrones. I have to say that she has lived up to her name perfectly. As a princess from the northern kingdom, she is intelligent, stubborn, and action-oriented, always ready to pursue her goals and utterly devoted to her family.
While Rocky is phlegmatic, Arya enjoys every little thing to the fullest! A new toy, a homecoming, or just a kind word triggers an all-embracing love and enthusiasm in her. She welcomes every visitor with a gift in her mouth – if she doesn’t have a favorite toy or bone, she’ll certainly come up with something else (yes, sometimes it’s even a sock).
Outside the home, she is reserved with strangers and they have to earn her attention. She loves any activity – long walks, playing fetch, teasing Rocky or anyone else nearby, trips to the city and the forest, and of course, shows. At shows she knows how to enjoy herself to the maximum! All the attention and praise motivate her, and she truly transforms into a proud princess in the ring. She shines even in the fiercest competitions, whether it’s at the European Dog Show in Herning, Denmark (Best of Juniors), the World Dog Show in Geneva (Best of Juniors and Best of Opposite), or at many international or club shows.
